Schedule: Sunday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Schedule Requirement: Candidates must be available to work up to six days per week. Actual assignment schedules will be confirmed with warehouse management prior to placement.

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and safety-conscious Warehouse Associates and Forklift Operators to support daily warehouse operations. These are active, hands-on positions that require employees to work at a steady pace while maintaining accuracy, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities may include order picking, pallet movement, carton handling, scanning, loading and unloading, pallet building, wrapping, housekeeping, and other general warehouse duties.

Forklift Operators should understand that this is not a forklift-only position . Operators will be expected to assist with manual warehouse duties throughout the shift as operational needs require.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Pick, move, stage, and organize products and pallets according to warehouse instructions.
• Handle cartons throughout the shift, including picking, sorting, stacking, and palletizing.
• Use handheld scanners or PDAs to scan products, locations, labels, and shipments.
• Verify SKUs, quantities, locations, and other order information for accuracy.
• Follow the required scanning and picking sequence without bypassing established procedures.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, incorrect locations, or system issues promptly.
• Build, wrap, stage, and prepare pallets for shipment or movement.
• Assist with loading and unloading as assigned.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow instructions from warehouse supervisors and management.
• Work cooperatively with team members and remain engaged in assigned tasks throughout the shift.
• Accept coaching and feedback regarding safety, productivity, and work quality.

Forklift Operator Requirements

Candidates being considered for forklift operation should have relevant, hands-on warehouse forklift experience.

Experience may include:

• Sit-down forklift
• Stand-up forklift
• Reach truck

Candidates should be prepared to discuss the type of equipment operated, length of experience, and how recently they operated each type of equipment .

Forklift Operators must be able to:

• Pick and move pallets safely and accurately.
• Work safely around warehouse racks, dock areas, equipment, and pedestrians.
• Follow pick instructions and verify SKU, quantity, and location.
• Load, unload, stage, and relocate materials as assigned.
• Assist with manual picking, pallet building, wrapping, housekeeping, and other warehouse duties when not operating equipment.

Warehouse management will assess equipment skills before authorizing an employee to operate powered industrial equipment.

Scanner / PDA Requirements

Candidates should be able to learn and use a handheld warehouse scanner or PDA.

Responsibilities include:

• Scanning products, labels, inventory locations, and shipments.
• Following the required scanning sequence.
• Verifying SKUs, quantities, and warehouse locations.
• Maintaining accuracy while working at a steady pace.
• Reporting scanning errors, inventory mismatches, or system problems rather than guessing or bypassing required steps.

Physical & Work Requirements

This is an active warehouse environment. Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:

• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout the warehouse.
• Repeated handling of cartons and warehouse materials.
• Maintaining a steady and productive work pace throughout the scheduled shift.
• Using appropriate equipment or team assistance when handling heavy, oversized, or bulky materials.

Attendance & Reliability

Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for this position.

Candidates must:

• Have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Arrive on time and be ready to begin work at the scheduled start time.
• Understand the potential six-day work schedule before accepting the assignment.
• Disclose any known scheduling conflicts during the interview and screening process.
• Follow the schedule provided by warehouse management.

Safety & Teamwork

Employees are expected to:

• Wear the required safety vest and any additional assigned personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow all forklift, pedestrian, dock, material-handling, and warehouse safety procedures.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions, damaged products, equipment problems, and workplace incidents.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Follow supervisor instructions and established warehouse procedures.
• Work cooperatively and professionally with coworkers and warehouse leadership.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Previous forklift experience required for positions involving forklift operation.
• Previous handheld scanner or PDA experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• English communication skills are preferred to support understanding of work instructions, communication of safety concerns, and coordination of daily warehouse activities. Practical job-related communication ability will be assessed during the screening process.

Successful candidates will be dependable, safety-conscious, willing to perform both equipment and manual warehouse duties, and able to maintain productivity and accuracy throughout the workday.
