Job Role: Certified Scrum master
Job Type: Full Time
Job Location: Jersey City NJ (Onsite) .
Salary Range: $90000 to $110000/Annum Full Time Benefits

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Certified Scrum master

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Coach and mentor team members on Agile and Scrum principles practices and values.
• Remove obstacles and impediments that impact team productivity and sprint goals.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
• Support teams in achieving sprint objectives and delivering business value.
• Monitor sprint progress velocity burndown charts and other Agile metrics.
• Foster a culture of transparency accountability continuous improvement and teamwork.
• Ensure adherence to Scrum methodologies and Agile best practices.
• Act as a liaison between development teams stakeholders and management.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and promote effective communication among team members.
• Drive Agile transformation initiatives and support organizational change management efforts.
• Identify risks and dependencies and proactively implement mitigation strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance or equivalent Agile certification.
• Bachelors degree in Business Information Technology Computer Science or related field.
• 10 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum Kanban and SAFe.
• Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira Azure DevOps or Rally.
• Excellent facilitation coaching leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Agile certifications (A-CSM PSM SAFe Scrum Master etc.).
• Experience in Banking Financial Services Capital Markets or FinTech domains.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.
• Experience managing multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
