We are partnering with a leading proprietary trading firm seeking a talented Senior C++ Developer to join a high-performance engineering team building technology that powers real-time trading across global financial markets. This is an opportunity to work on mission-critical systems where performance, reliability, and latency are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimize high-performance C++ applications for low-latency trading environments.
\n
• Reduce system latency through profiling, performance tuning and code optimization.
\n
• Build scalable, resilient software used in electronic trading and market data processing.
\n
• Work closely with traders, quantitative researchers and infrastructure engineers to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
\n
• Identify bottlenecks across software and hardware, implementing improvements to maximize throughput and minimize latency.
\n

Requirements

\n
• Strong commercial experience developing software in modern C++ (C++17/20 preferred).
\n
• Proven experience building low-latency, high-performance systems.
\n
• Deep understanding of performance optimization, memory management, multi-threading and concurrent programming.
\n
• Experience profiling applications and optimizing CPU, cache utilization and network performance.
\n
• Strong knowledge of Linux development environments and systems programming.
\n
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for writing highly efficient code.
\n

Nice to Have

\n
• Experience within proprietary trading, hedge funds or electronic market making.
\n
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/UDP), kernel bypass technologies, RDMA or DPDK.
\n
• Familiarity with exchange connectivity, market data or order management systems.
\n
• Exposure to Python for tooling or automation.
\n
